N'thasan was a loyal and dedicated warrior of the Covenant's Zealot Order, until the Covenant's invasion of the human colony known as Charybdis IX in early 2535. There, for perhaps the first time in his life, the Sangheili found his faith tested, as he came face-to-face with a squalling human infant. Initially shocked by the discovery, and with human soldiers closing in, N'thasan opted to take the childling with him and subsequently fled the humans... and left the Covenant entirely.

N'thasan then raised the human child as his own, even in spite of not knowing how, settling on Kroedis II, a lawless planet where many survivors of the war had fled to... including a small handful of disillusioned Covenant warriors like himself— albeit no Sangheili. It was a simple life he lead with his adoptive daughter, until scout ships from then-Supreme Commander 'Vadamee's Fleet of Particular Justice stumbled upon the system.

Sangheili warriors soon discovered N'thasan, who had lowered his guard due to the belief that the Covenant would never be able to find him, and took him away for interrogation. He was subsequently put on trial, and deemed unfit to live, his life then being ended shortly thereafter by a Sangheili Executioner. He would never see his adoptive daughter again.

Tha'ze Yvo 'Suromai is the former Fleetmaster of the Fleet of Profound Solitude, and former Shipmaster of the CSO-class supercarrier, Solace in Annihilation.

At some undisclosed point after the initial skirmishes of the Great Schism, Tha'ze fled to the planet of Sqala, also known as Venezia. There, he operates as an independent mercenary.

Senah 'Firan is a Shipmistress within the Swords of Sanghelios, helming the Valorous Reaper (formerly known as Virtuous Cleansing of Intent).
